Peter Genuardi, Founder & Principal Consultant
Peter supports teams and businesses that make the world more compassionate. His experience developing marketing programs, implementing technology, and growing businesses makes him a superior advisor for marketing teams that want to bring social impact products to market.
For 25 years Peter has supported the work of leading nonprofit organizations, venture-backed startups, and professional service agencies to transform their teams and lead them to growth. Peter has held executive product development roles with venture-backed software companies like Giveo as well as sales and marketing roles with Merkle, Convio, and GetActive.
As CEO of a creative agency since 2012, Peter has led teams that raised millions of dollars for organizations like the Seeing Eye, Children’s Cancer Research Fund, and Ronald McDonald House Charities. His team has developed custom Web applications for AARP Foundation, Sierra Club, and Human Rights Campaign.
Now, as Principal Consultant at See the Stars, Peter focuses on creating powerful products, developing high performing teams, and recruiting stellar candidates for leadership, creative, and technical roles.
Janet Ehlers, Director of Operations
Janet is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business operations, project management, marketing, and strategic planning. As the Director of Operations at See The Stars, she is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency, overseeing daily tasks, and leading strategic initiatives to drive the company forward. Janet’s expertise in project management enables her to manage complex projects from start to finish, meeting deadlines and budgets.
Her marketing background is highlighted by her work with notable brands such as Celestial Seasonings and Rudi’s Organic Bakery, and as the Director of e-commerce for a women’s activewear brand. These roles underscored her commitment to promoting health and wellness brands, digital success, and team building.
Beyond marketing, Janet ventured into entrepreneurship with a Pinball e-commerce company, part of her larger Pinball business, which included a collection of 70 machines and a retro arcade used for entertainment in tech startups and short-term rentals.
Janet’s academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on business management, strategic planning, and leadership, and a BA with a double major from The George Washington University.
Ondine Geary, Director of Research
Ondine is a problem-solver (and sometimes maker…) in the realms of nonprofits, art, and academia. For more than two decades, she has been fostering community, making meaning, and strategically leading people, projects and programs with playfulness, care and creativity.
She has developed and managed community engagement programming with local institutions like CU Boulder, the Boulder Valley School District, and the Museum of Boulder. She has researched, devised and implemented audience-experience solutions for nonprofits like the AARP Foundation and Memphis-based Metropolitan Interfaith Association (MIFA). She currently serves on the boards of the Boulder County Arts Alliance and Mi Chantli, Boulder’s only Mexican/Chicano-owned dance center and hub of the local Hip-hop community.
Ondine holds a BA in Sociology from Kenyon College, an MFA in Dance from CU Boulder, and is completing masters-level coursework in User Experience at CU Boulder. She serves as an alumni coach for IDEO U. When she’s not behind a laptop, she’s making and performing dances.
